Music Scholarships
The Knoxville Choral Society accepts applications for three annual music scholarships awarded to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in music. Preference will be given to students attending institutions in the East Tennessee region or who call East Tennessee home.
AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Leola Boyce
Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in conducting or music performance.
The Pat Brown
Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in music education.
The Marion Cannon
Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student from an underrepresented background who is majoring in music.
Application Requirements and Performance Opportunity
Each scholarship application requires a 4-8 minute audio or video submission. Scholarship recipients will receive their checks and perform their submitted selection at the Knoxville Choral Society's Winter Concert, held at Central Bearden Baptist Church in Knoxville on Friday February 20, 2026 at 7:30 pm.
Each scholarship recipient will receive $750.00.
